a suitable diet for an indian star tortoise would be-
-cucumber or tomatoes
- fresh grass(garden grass)
-nice,fresh flowers
i think thats enough for a tortoise
note-don't feed it all the things together

the best food for the Indian star tortoise is a variety of finely chopped up vegetables like carrots,lettuces,cucumber and celery. they will get their water from eating these veggies.

i would try a little bit of lettuce...not the iceberg kind...it has too much water in it...fruits and veggies are good...carrots..whatever..you can mix it up and see what they like...its ok to experiment a little with different fruits and such...good luck
