if you are really stubborn,
there's no sense in giving you advice.
You will still follow what you
want anyways.
You will eventually learn that you can never
make it unless you stoop down sometimes.

I find that being stubborn is just self resistance to relaxing and going with the flow. Usually stems from a lack of personal trust and trust of others. Stubbornness is felt like a protecting ourselves from giving up our control. I learned that if I acknowledged the resistance and thought about whether or not doing the action was hurting me there was less need for stubbornness. That practice took me to seeing how much in life I was resisting and not allowing myself to enjoy. It changed a great deal in my life and fun became something I could have all day long.

Being obedient and being self-willed are two opposite extremes. To reconcile the two you need to compromise and find something in between.
Perhaps negotiating with your partner, compromising, and finding something that is acceptable to both is the same as being partly obedient and partly self-willed.

You have two options: learn to spell or learn how to click the button that says 'check spelling'. Both will take you far in life.
