I have played this over and over again. Stuck on the spider bit were it says "You have to throw bait" away from the clearing. Plese help.

man i played this game and beat it when it first came out, you have to find a piece of meat or something, and throw it toward the spiders but away from the exit way, they will gang up on the meat to eat then you slip by them....im gonna see if i can find a walk through for you
ok sorry i think you gotta spear one of the bug the throw it toward the spiders...ill leave the walkthrough site in case you need further help

There must be maggots or flies near you. Stab one with a spear and throw it close to the spiders. They will run to eat it and then you can run past them. Try this link. HTTP--db.gamefaqs.com-console-gamecube-file-.. You can distract most of the predators with these maggots, flies and even the fish.

u have to get a spear and kill a flyin animal and the spider will start eating it then u can shoot the spider or run
