My infant son of 10 months has a running nose all the time..even if we live in a city where there is not much cold...You doint even require a sweater in the day...may be early morning there is bit cold....Can it be because we use chemical -based mosquito repellant (vaporizer) ?

running nose doesn't just come from cold, it could be sinus or some allegy to dust, fur, etc. Check with the pediatrician.

cuold be the repellant. he may be allergic to it, or just the changing weather. many of us have colds b/c the weather has been so screwy lately.
ask his pediatrician if he has allergies and if a baby claritin or benadryl can help.

take care.

p.s. i'd stop with the repellant and then, if his nose clears up, then you know what caused it.

My son was the same way. Had him tested and found allergies. He has been taking the meds for it for 19 years now. But some kids easily outgrow childhood allergies.

it could be an allergy. Sometimes stuffy/ runny noses and rashes are signs that your child is allergic to something (like soap, milk, food, etc)

More likely teething. My one year old is the same, and she's got about 6-8 teeth coming in.

it's probably allergies. if either parent has issues with allergies then the likelihood increases. get him something for it and he should be fine.

is it clear? If so, it may be allergies. Talk to your child's doctor, they can prescribe something to help
