lmao. My dad asks me that all the time, if i can "understand that stuff."
I can understand what they're saying, but my younger sisters, who are 16 & 15, listen to a different genre of music, and they can't understand what the rappers are saying either.

Yes and No. Its mostly about appearances and attitude these days and I have heard a few good lyrics.
Some of it is cool when in the mood it makes good work music but its weird how a lot of people that like rap have this weird hate attitude towards rock like its a racial thing or something. What ever happened to the direction of the early rap like A Tribe called quest? THese days most people don't play instruments and would not how to appreciate how awesome a good guitar solo is like some of Joe Perrys of Aerosmith ( BACK in the Sadddle) or
a good trumpet run in a jazz number. I've been listening to Latin music on the AM lately and expanding my horizons, everyone should do the same.

i can't.
they're too fast for me to process them.
i only catch like a few sentences in the entire rap.
honestly, i have to read the lyrics.
