Can anyone give me any feedback on the Chevy Aveo(4dr automatic)? i am looking at one, but know nothing about the car... thanks

The Chevrolet Aveo is a very basic and spartan vehicle. If you get the top line LT model than it'll be enough to keep you comfortable since it'll have an AC, a CD player, power windows, mirrors, door locks and it'll even have heated mirrors. The base models might not have any of those features. Either way the Aveo is a very cheap alternative to many other cars but it certainly isn't the best.
Here's a list of some other cars you might want to consider:
Dodge Neon, Hyundai Accent and Kia Rio.

Nothing wrong with them. Its a basic car but they are well built and are great on gas. They can be a little sluggish since they have a very small engine but you will have no problem around town, merging onto highways or keeping up with traffic. I recommended one to a friend. Dont listen to the "Hondas are a gift from God" crowd. I say go with the Aveo.

My sister has one its great on gas which is a must have now a days! Its also the perfect size for some who will basically just be using it for themselves, but needs plenty of room to store bags or boxs to move from one place top another. A not so great thing about the car is that it gets dented really easily. Maybe not the safest structure wise. But it is a sensible car for someone who is buying sensibly. And you make them sporty looking or cute! Hope this helps! Happy Holidays!

Honestly I would rather have a slightly older Honda Civic. It will probably do better in terms of gas milage, it will be safer and more reliable.

Not bad. Pretty dependable. Not really a Chevrolet. It is made by Daewoo.
