By this I mean the wrong words keep coming out my mouth! It sounds quite funny but as its happening more and more its getting to be embarassing and upsetting. I know what I want to say but the words that I speak are completely wrong! Or even mixed up somehow. The last week I've also been having headaches, or head pains and I've been dreaming a lot more vividly than I ever have before. Has anyone any explanation of this please?

You need to see a neurologist. When I was in 4th grade I started having the same problems. And it got worse till one day I was in class and I blacked out. I was put in the hospital and they did alot of tests on me. They thought at first I had a brain tumor. But they found nothing on the cat-scan. I was then sent to a neurologist who diagnosed me with a rare type of migraines. They present themselves with the symptoms of a stroke. Until the age of 15 I was on medication every day for them. I am 29 now and I usually have one once or twice a year. Depending on my stress level. If it turns out you don't have these type of migraines it may be more serious (a stroke possibly). Either way you need to get to a really good doctor and have an EEG or some other type of brain scan. I will keep your situation in my prayers.

It's usual to get words mixed up and the whole tripping over sentances thing, but this sounds more serious. Esp with unexplained headaches, I'd say see a doc hun, might be something simple like a trapped neuron, but could be more serious. I'd say check it for piece of mind ;o)

Hope it gets better

Get checked out. Right. Like it's a disease...

sorry. I tend to rant.

Anyway, I've got a friend like you. She cannot get the words out, ever. Do we laugh at her? (yes, sometimes, but not in a mean way.) But we're still friends.

So no, you don't have a disease, to my knowledge. Just find some friends who don't mind. We all have faults. Some people say I'm too long-winded, but of course you wouldn't believe that. :)

See a doctor - now!
Might be something minor but it's better not to take chances with things involving your head and brain. Safe rather than sorry!

Neurology. Go see GP. Might need head scan. Maybe heart also, depending on age.
