depends which type of human you mean. Some are here purely for breeding purposes, some are here just to annoy the rest of us, and some are here to search for the answer to your question.

Nothing actually. we just just imagine that we hav a purpose .What is it for amd whom is it for if at all we hav a purpose ? When nothng is permanent and our life is ephemeral what boots it to have a purpose at all?who knows his great great grand father and all those who ;lived before him? The whole world id being pepared for recycling . We are only waiting for that to happen .whne the sun exhausts its fuel it will happen and we might all be sucked into the belly of the sun and increase its gravity so inensely tha en ligh might find it hard to escape from it and make it a black hole . some scientists say that it might turn into a white dwarf .whatever happens to it, is going to decide the fate of this litlle world and tre will not even be a trace of the existence of any life or civilization in it once it is drawn into the belly of the sun.Does nature has any purpose in doing it ? No . it is the imagination of he man that imputes a pupose for everything .But nature goes on unmindful of any purpose of man..

The basic meaning of the word--purpose--is to aim for a goal, or to have a reason to do something. God created Adam and Eve, and the purpose was to be companions to God. Read Genesis (The Bible) for more. The foundation of humanness is to worship and adore that God Spirit. God did not want us to be robots, without a mind or will, so He put a part of the Light, or His Spirit in us. The Soul, some people call it, lives in each human--free to love, hate, help, murder or be a hermit. The purpose, therefore, is to enjoy life, to create the myriad of paths to all around us, and to love and worship God while doing it.

You must check the Bible (the Book of Eternal Truth) for that, even if you aren't a Christian. As told by the Bible, the purpose of our living on Earth is defined differently depending on what you're created for. Each man on Earth has his own destiny. You may find it through solemn prayers time by time. One for sure, it's not for perishing Earth by commencing wars or hatreds.

The purpose of the human species, like the purpose of the species of fire ants, white oaks and amoeba is to exist.

Oh yes, absolutely! Our purpose is merely to convert as much as possible of the energy stored in hydrocarbons, into KINETIC energy.
Once you accept this, your life will have a meaning

To make more humans. We are just mean lean gene machines!
Apart from that, what ever you want to make of it. We are self-aware, story telling apes and can make up our own purpose. Which is cool!
