i wanted to date her but we stayed friends,untill 2 months ago i couldn't stand her **** starting 19 year old daughter.i havent spoke to her or seen her since Oct.eg i had a top phone that made hers rubbish she hated that all my stuff was better than hers then i got a BMW she called me a show off and said things like it's not godly to be into material things yet she would also say that the phone she wants is better than mine she had a think about talking about stuff but thats all it was talk. she tryed to go to ebay and buy a Nokia 8800 that she thought she could get for less than a £100 that was a £500 phone at the time..one day we went out and got drunk i let her drive the BMW when she parked outside my house she parked over a drain my phone went down there and was gone forever,,i then had to use my backup 2 days later i wound her up by saying that i went out and got the phone she wants,she called me a copycat and was highly pissed as if they made that phone just for her.

It sounds like she is very jealous, but it also sounds like you got drawn into it. Bragging about getting the phone that she wants is no less childish than her telling you about her desire for that phone.
Yes it is possible for a woman to be jealous of material possessions. Women have desires just like men and can be just as materialistic as some men are.
The best thing for you to do is to stop competing with her and end the friendship with her. You could never have a healthy relationship because she will always compete with you.

Men or women can suffer from lack of self esteem and jealousy. I would not allow this to bother me, I would just choose better friends. Those that do not have the hang up and issues that this one did. Some people are so envious they can not be happy for others. that is a very sad reality. God bless****

Yes, but it is not a male/female issue, it is just because she is human. She sounds very immature. Perhaps you speak of your own belongings and how nice they are too often and she feels as if you are being materialistic, also.

lol... its quite apparent ....u both are just jealous of each other... and about being jealous of mans material goods, most women are not!! cos thier interest varies from that of men!
Esp women who earn thier buck hardly even care about such stuff
