Yes and it is the Salvation Army.
They're a very charitable organization. They help people in need of all sorts of things. It's my understanding that they do not expect any compensation from those they help which I've heard is often not true of another well known organization.

The Salvation Army does the bell ringing thing. Yes, I always donate a little when I can. The Salvation Army helped my family
when we were in an emergency situation once.

I give a dollar at each one,and if the person seems friendly I will
talk with them for a few minutes. Some people don't seem to realize that the bell ringers must get bored doing a job that most of us would not do.And some of them are pretty cool.

Sometimes I do, depends on how my finances are. I do donate canned goods every year our school does a food drive to help people in our community, we also know some low income families that we do something for.

I usually do if I have the extra cash when leaving the store. I rarely carry around cash(mostly in my checkbook), so yeah, when I have the cash, I put some in.
