That depends on the year GTO you're looking for. I'd stay away from e-bay, they don't protect against fraud very well. Try classic cars.com or autotrader .com. If your looking for a classic in good shape you pay better then $18000.00 for something decent, if you looking for a project expect to pay no less then $4500.00 and if your looking for a 9 or 10 you'll pay no less then $24000.00

a 'new' GTO or a classic? Makes a big difference where to look...
For instance, I can get you a nice used 05 for about 22,000 (typically).
A classic? Well, let me just say they ain't cheap and ain't getting any cheaper. Look at some of the usual sources (Hemmings, Old Car Trader, your local paper), and also look at POCI (www.poci.org) and the GTOAA.

I'm afraid this car is really hard to come by in the UK. You may have to import from the US, but since you say "preferably not too expensive" this may prove hard. The 2006 model is the last one being produced.
