no, on google earth my old green golf is parked on my drive. I've had 2 cars since then!

No, Definitely not...

Some of the images I see of my local town are about 5 years old I think... Obviously some are more up to date than this but I would say most at least 12 months old.
If you look at for instance, the Bristol Channel, Some of the photos the tide is in, some the tide is out.. its weird!!

Still very cool though!!!

no. I think they update it every now and again, but the satelite pictures on google earth are anywhere up to a year old. If it were live, then the images wouldd be moving instead of static.

No, if you set it up right it will give you the date that that part was updated, perhaps if you were to pay for the full version you could get it in real time, but $400 a year is a bit much.

Its real but it is not live

however it updates every time you log on it loads up new stuff (i don't mean an google upgrade or update)

hell no, you really think that you and the thousands of other people that use it at the same time are controlling there own little sattelite orbiting earth, come on think straight!!!

I don't think so.. I looked up a few places and saw my car outside my parent - in -laws even though I wasn't there. i think they take new pictures periodically to keep it up to date.
Please correct me if i am wrong....
