If you use Mac, Buy Ipod its easy to manage...

If you use Windows XP, Never worry about compatibility or driver issues and etc... Buy Zune http://www.zune.net/en-US/

Zune sales is shooting up because people are used to Windows.

Well they are both "mp3" players. There are differant types of mp3 players but all do the same and play music. Just matters how many songs you want to store and how muhc money you want to spend. They come with a USB cord that you plug into your computer and you download the songs and use a program such as itunes to transfer them from your computer to mp3 player....

If you don't want to spend a lot of money there are good cheap MP3 players out there. I bought a 512mb one for my daughter off of ebay for $35 and i have no problems with it. It's small and very easy to use. If you are just going to use it for like working out or jogging and don't mind changing the music on it, then I would get a small cheap one.

But if you want it for like long car trips where you are the passenger I would go with a Video Ipod 60 or 80GB, I just bought one, and I have over 2000 songs, and over 50 hours of video on it. Plus Pictures. I bought it because I go to the gym, and I watch movies, and tv shows, to try to take my mind off the fact that I'm in serious pain. I bought a 60GB one on Ebay for $313. You can buy smaller ones, that are cheaper, but I really like the one I bought for my daughter, and you don't have to use Itunes, and convert anything like with the Ipod. You just hook it into your computer and litterly 3 seconds later you have your music on it. It's nice for a small Mp3 player. Hope this helped!

i like ipods- they have a bigger screen, a backligth, and if you have a big enough one you can watch movies on it.... you only need a pracitacalyl up to dtae computer and the internet to dowload music weathers its from i-tunes or illegally from place like limewire.
