What could this be? I dont have a telescope, so I couldn't get a good look at it. But it looked like a large star that changed colors fast. I watched it for 30 minutes and it never moved.

Sounds like the northern lights but that's just about impossible to see in Florida. (I used to live in NW FL.) Even up here in New Hampshire, we hardly ever see it. Once in a GREAT while we might see a faint greenish streak across the sky but that's about it. I don't know--could it have been something associated with Cape Canaveral, since you don't live all that far away from there? Interesting, at any rate. Let us know if you figure it out!

Do you live NE of the airport? Gee when I lived there on 51st street, I lived NE of the airport, and I always saw red, green, and white lights off to the SW. Now get off the computer and go watch scooby doo.

Probably a bright star. Bright stars can show colors as they twinkle.
