I mean, they werent his fault. They were both tipped balls that were intercepted.
But Coughlin made it clear that he shouldve seen a blitz coming. Thats stupid. What more was Eli to do?

Not to mention on two COMPLETIONS, his receivers fumbled the ball.

I completely agree with you JusticeMan. You definitely know what you're talking about...they were SO not his fault.

And hamthug: What is your problem?? Would you QUIT comparing him to his brother who has been playing 7 MORE YEARS THAN HIM!!! You can't compare them when Peyton has had THAT MUCH MORE EXPERIENCE!! Gosh....you people are so judgemental. It drives me CRAZY!

Eli is so bad it is sickening. I can't believe they paid him almost 10 million last year. He should go back to play in high school, they are more his level of play. the only reason he is even in the pros is because of his brother and father. Try and name a starting QB that has ever played worse? As for coughlin blaming Eli. I think that half the problem is Eli and the other half is coughlin, so he really had no right to blame Eli on TV. It is coughlins responsibility to see that Eli is worthless and replace him with someone who will throw to their own team.

Strahan. He has had a hall of attractiveness profession, and that i'm greater effective than happy to be certain him get a hoop. i'm additionally greater effective than happy for Eli Manning via fact he performed impressive interior the final conventional season interest and the playoffs. The Eli haters have no longer something on him now. i'm additionally greater effective than happy for Amani Toomer. He makes maximum of impressive toe faucet sideline catches. he's an extremely underrated receiver. and how might desire to I ignore Jeff Feagles? He has performed for 20 years interior the NFL, and that's his first ring. he's the suitable ever at punting the ball interior the 20. he's yet another key element to their Superbowl victory. bypass Giants!!!!!!!!!

Oh so are you saying a QB SHOULDN'T be able to read a Blitz? Man you would be a bad coach. As to what he SHOULD have done if he reads a blitz he should THROW IT AWAY or move for the blitz. I am not saying a tipped ball into INT is all the QBs fault. I am saying stop suckling Manning's teat and accept that a GOOD QB can do something about that a Blitz. A good QB can READ a Blitz.

Absolutely Not! That's exactly what I said to my husband after the game....... those weren't his fault!! Eli can only do so much, those fumbles were ridiculous and not to mention the defense. I mean - you can't let that happen. And like I've been saying all along -- they need to make things happen in the red zone! They had plenty of chances to score and couldn't and that damn 2 pt conversion -- wth were they thinking! No sense in that! That was a stupid call!!!!!!!! Stupid, stupid, stupid! I was screaming so loud its a wonder they didn't hear me!

Anyway - I still love my boys!! Go Giants!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tom Coughlin is a jerk. His players hate him, the media hates him, etc. Who would want to play for that guy?
