that was crazy!!! so many players are getting suspended. it shouldn't be that serious, but denver shouldn't have had their starters still in the game with a minute left and a 19 point lead.. that was ridiculous

I agree with the answer above. I've lost all respect for Carmelo ... what a coward. He sucker punches someone and runs to the other end of the court. He should be suspended for at least 20 games. David Stern will hand out some harsh suspensions and Knick fans, if there was a time to rally to get Isaih out of there, now would be a good time to do it. Did anyone see him smiling and laughing with Carmelo before they all went to the locker room? Then in the press confrence he was very non-chalunt about the whole deal? Pathetic.

Nate Robinson (5'8'') tackled J.R. Smith (6'4''), and he took him down. Robinson is my idol. He took down someone nearly 1 foot taller than him. Then comes Carmelo (pansy) and punches Jared Jeffries in the face, and runs to the other side of the court. That cheap shot made me lose all of my respect for Carmelo. Here's a video...

Things like this along with a total loss of team work is why I stopped watching the NBA. NCAA is better ball without the whole team being showboats.

SEVERAL FACTORS:
WHY ARE DENVER'S TOP PLAYERS STILL IN THE GAME?
HARD FOULS OCCUR ALL THE TIME. THAT IS WHY THERE IS A FLAGRANT FOUL RULE TO STOP PLAYERS FROM OVERREACTING.
DON'T THROW A PUNCH, YOU WILL PAY.
ISIAH SHOULD WORRY ABOUT HIS TEAM.
ALL THE PLAYERS WILL BE SUSPENDED.

this is thug mentality it does not model sportsmanship, or respect for the sport itself, players are getting enough salary that they should get some lessons in how to act human and not like apes

A cheap shot flagrant foul is bad, but Melo sucker punching people and taking off is worse. It just shows how much more of a punk he is.
