A good practice is to video yourself. Watch yourself and see where there are problem areas that you can improve on. Then you can practice and rehearse your speech and get more comfortable with it. Just take a deep breath and enjoy being up in front of people. Realize they all feel the same way when they are up in front of people too. So relax and be well prepared that will take the fright away alot.

Pratice in mirror and with other have them tell you what they think visual aides that can refere too will help distract you from the crowd at first start looking sightley over there head that way you don't get upset at looking at them and freek out.
Trust me I have social phobia and still can give lectures in front of very important people of 100 or more just use this method and I know my material inside and out. also I have friends and family ask me questions like the people I would be speaking too would ask.
