sometimes when you wash your tv screen with windex some moister may get in the buttons and cause this problem best bet call phillips ask them what to do they helped me when mine was stuck on store mode yep alot of people dont know if you hit two buttons at the same time on your tv it goes into store mode dont try it tho

The same thing happens to my television all the time, I have a Sharp. I have no idea, but one of my friends said it could be the picture tube. I am going to take it into the shop after the holidays to make sure thats what it is and if the tube ends up costing the amount of the tv then I will go ahead and replace it.

Had this happen with a Zenith. Not worth repairing, probably, it'll cost you almost 100 to get an estimate, when you can buy a decent tv for not much more than that.

What is the age of your TV? It may need to be replaced.Do they still repair TVs? If so get it repaired if that would be cheaper than buying a new one.

First check the batteries in the remote. If that's not the case then it's either the power switch or the relay. Gotta put it in the shop.
