Sigmund Freud says that dreams are fears or wishes, Often if you have a lot going on in your life this can disrupt your sleep, we can only remember dreams if we wake up during R.E.M ( rapid eye movement). So if you remember alot of dreams in the morning you are probably drifting in and out of sleep during the night. You may be exhausted because your dreams are making you move alot of you are not getting sufficient levels of deep sleep.

Some theorists say to reflect on things that have occured during the day, others say it's a message from your subconcious on how you're feeling and how you should solve it.

If you're curious keep a dream journal and visit a site like www.dreammoods.com then go to the dictionary and look up some things from your dream.

You might be surprised.

I always dream about my family members that have died. A medium once told me, we visit the spirit world when dreaming. Not sure about normal dreams though. Also when we dream we are not sleeping, as our mind is active, so it does make us feel tired the next day.

from what i've been told, dreams are our subconsience showing it's self in sometimes really strange or unclear ways.
