Trivial Pursuit is great with older people; they know a lot of different things than others and that can lead to interesting conversations.

My family always enjoys Taboo and Scrabble, also.

Scatergories

Just my personal choice. It's not trivia, or anything that would favor any particular person. Each round starts with a letter. Then you have an alotted time to put down as many things with that letter as possible without matching anyone!

Ex: The letter is "S". You would get a list of categories that you'd have to fill in with the letter "S". Each card is laid out something like this...

1. City ____________
2. Color ___________
3. First Name _______

Then you just put an answer down for each category that would start with "S". But the key is, you only get points for the answers that DON'T match anyone! It's fun!

Just a suggestion! Hope this helps!!!

Do you want games that last long? If so there is Life, Pay Day, and Monoploy.

Fast games are things such as BattleShips, chess, checkers, Balderdash, pictionary.

Good luck
