I have done Ebay and amazon both, as a seller. Overall, I am more pleased with amazon. Amazon does have those fees. But they offset them with a fair shipping allowance. I found Ebay higher by the time you do the things you have to do in order to have an attractive business there. Specifically, setting up to accept paypal as a seller cuts so deeply into your profit (their take of your take) that you can't sell things as cheaply as you should be able to. At least with amazon, you bypass Paypal, and can sell to anyone with an amazon account. This saves you quite a bit as a seller.

powells.com
They sell both new and used books. If you buy used books from other places online, you may get VERY old books, but at Powells, the books are all categorized by use. They have a HUGE selection, and the used books are VERY reasonably priced. Plus, if you order a lot, you get free shipping!
Go Powells!

Textbook411.com is the best place to bell-back books! They buy your books direct, so you dont have to wait for some other person to need the book!
