Its very hard to catch someone when the people around the area are loyal to him and the moutains are honeycombed, so that he can virtually hide out anywhere around the area...
People are secretive when strangers come a looking around, (like them revonooers in the prohibition days, lookin for the "stills" in them thar hollars and hills)...
Makes it real hard to find one terrorist amongst so many of them...

The USA could catch him if they made it a real priority. 9/11 and Bin Ladin were used as a segue to invade Iraq (A plan that Bush and his ilk had been constructing for the past decade). It is also quite possible that he is in fact dead and this is being kept a secret so the administration can keep scaring the public into submission. Just imagine if it was found out that they had kept this secret from us, there would be a huge outcry from both the red and blue sides of our populous.

WE KNOW WHERE HE IS! we just cant get to him because he is hiding in mountains in Palestine. The only problem is that the Palistianian gov. does not have control of that part and it is full of terroists tribes that support Bin Laden. The palastinian government doesnt want us to go in and risk starting a war in palastine
