Describe the similarities and differences between abolitionist and Free Soil positions on slavery.?

Abolitionist wanted the whole institution of slavery destroyed. Free Soilers did not want slavery in their neighbourhood, but could accept it elsewhere if it kept coloured people away from their own area. Much anti-slavery sentiment was accompanied by racial and colour prejudice.
