No Sweetie, I had 4 pregnancies but I never had this problem! In fact with all the women I have talked to this is the first time that I have heard of this problem.
Still, you need to get it taken care of as soon as you can! It is not healthy for you to be going around with that much poison in your system. You would be surprised the far reaching effects that an infected tooth can have on your entire body. It is not a healthy thing to have going on when you are pregnant!
When you go to the dentist be sure that you tell him that you are pregnant! Not that they could not notice at this point but just for the sake of safety be sure that you tell them. I am not sure if it is safe for pregnant woman to have Nitrous Oxide for instance. Probably nit. Just be sure that you talk to them about your pregnancy and how all this will effect you. That is important. They will probably tell you that you need to be on an antibiotic.
Take care of it ASAP. If you cannot find a dentist to see you call your OB/GYN and tell them what is going on...they can speed up the process and tell you what you should be doing.
Tale care!
Love and Blessings

No, but I heard that alot of woman have problems withj their teeth when they're pregnant. I think it has something to do with the fact that you're providing nutrients & vitamins (calcium etc.) for two now, & you might not be getting enough. After you get that taken care of at the dentist I would start taking pregnancy vitamins. That's just what I heard, anyway. Hope it helps.

With my second and third pregnancies my teeth started acting up. I had to get my wisdom teeth pulled. I do know that during pregnancy your blood flow is stronger so your gums will swell and bleed more easily. Sounds like you have an abscessed tooth and that needs to be taken care of right away.

I have heard of women having more gum and teeth issues during pregnancy.
PLEASE go to a dentist or even the ER immediately.
I don't want to scare you, but an infection that goes untreated in the gums/teeth can go straight to your heart. Do you want to put your baby or yourself at risk? I'm sure you don't. Don't take the chance -- go there now.
My friend's mother died because she had an infection in her tooth and it went to her heart. She left it untreated for too long. BE CAREFUL!

with each one of my preg my teeth got worse and worse.theyre pretty bad off at this point!you need to either call your doc or go to the er and get put on antibiotics until you can see a dentist.you have and abcessed tooth and it can poison your body and your baby.the dentist will put you on antibiotics anyways before he will be able to fix your tooth.i know how it feels because i dont have dental insurance because i cant afford it!it sucks but you gotta get it done.once you have the baby it will be better.but be forewarned:it probably will happen again if you become pregnant again!good luck!
