There was a reason that the Senate voted 95-0 to reject it. That reason is because it punishes the US, and does nothing about the biggest polluters like China.

And, experts have said that even if implemented, it would have the net effect of reducing the greenhouse gas problem by less than 0.5% - basically nothing - at a huge economic (and thus human) cost to the US and EU.

The fact is that it is a terrible treaty based on questionable science that is more likely to harm people than do anything for the environment.

I believe it was underhanded attempt to handicap the United States because if the world community was serious they would not exempted some of the worst polluters like China, India, Mexico

It is a waste. Most restrictions are on USa and China gets a walk. The whole thing is just a feel good, do nothing waste. I laugh at the fools that have fallen for this.

Why bother. It's 'Feel Good' leglislation. Even the nations who radified it have failed to live up to it.
