no, they will not release the name until later today.
What a sad situation, my heart goes out to the family.
I live just n.e of Mt hood.
they are saying it is " Kelly James"

I guessed last night (when they still had the identity under wraps) that it might be Kelly James since they said the body was found in the snow cave that was in the area where he'd made the cell phone call a few days ago...so I'd assumed it was him.
This morning it was confirmed that it was indeed Kelly James. So tragic. My prayers and thoughts are with his family as well as the family of the other missing hikers at this devasting and heart wrenching time...

They have not released the name of the hiker they found. No one knows yet, except MAYBE a member of his family.

no ,I heard today,this afternoon they will anounce the name of hiker found dead, but let us pray for not only that family but the other family members who are involved.I am sure it is very stressful for all of them,a very good time to turn away from ourselves and think of the many missing,chlidren and parents.
