"Stopped" is the past tense of the verb "to stop".
When you are asking a question such as this, because you are questioning the action of "stopping", it is phrased in the present tense.
BUT....

The verb is (or verbs are) actually "did.....stop".
The "did" is past tense, so...did stop....together, are past tense.
examples:
Did you ask?........ I asked, or, I did ask.
Did you stop?........I stopped, or, I did stop.

In the case of "when did you stop working ?" the answer would be "I stopped last week" or whatever.

So, as you have already been told, 1 & 2 are incorrect, 3 & 4 are correct.

1. This on is wrong. It would be "When did you stop working". You put 'stop' in the past tense, it should be in the present.
2. This one is wrong. It would be "Did you stop working?". 'Stop' should be in present tense again.
3. This one is correct.
4. This one is correct.
