the scenario is that I have signed up to an unlimited broadband plan. Max speed and download as much data as i can. The catch is my isp has throttled certain activty (made it slower). Is there anyway around this for such p2ps as limewire, frostwire adn bitorrents. Thanks

I'd check with a law student / lawyer to see if selective throttling by an ISP selling "unlimited" internet access is legal or not.

P2P's use specific ports - that's probably the main way they know. As to how to get around it... talk to the ISP about knocking it off, mention you're talking to a lawyer, and if that doesn't pan out consider looking for a new ISP if it's a big deal to you.

Oh, and with all that P2P I hope you have a few good anti-virus and anti-spy/ad/malware programs. And a firewall.

If I had a great gamble to stress a NASCAR song i could opt to do Pocono, yet there isn't any way i could bypass finished throttle around that song. and that i could consistently stress the vehicle myself. have you ever ridden at the back of a motorbike. I also have a pair situations. That grow to be frightening, in spite of the undeniable fact that it never scared me to experience one myself and bypass properly into the triple digits. comparable is going with a speedy vehicle. And to boot I do it notably stable.

Nope, Your data is comming to the ISP first then to you... They are the slowest link and you will have to fix it there.

Try using a proxy service. Search google.
Also turn on encryption for torrents.
