Of course 9-11 was all set up by the president, just like the Cole, all the embassies in many countries, the president was personally responsible for the climbers on Mount Hood. Former presidents rigged the Pearl Harbor attack, the murder of Lincoln - - oh wait, he was the president.
The great dust bowl, everybody knows that was all planned by the president. How about Katrina ? Bush should have known better. He should have had the hurricane hit the South Pole instead- - - far less damage.
No we're not slipping back in the world, it's that others are catching up. Other nations are now copying America's path, making us stand out less.
Don't worry too much about China. They're going all out to out produce the world. They're sacrificing everything for more and more factories. Health, housing, worker's rights, everything is secondary to factories. There are many billionares at the top, but extreme misery for most everybody else.
So wise up. Instead of seeking ways to run your country into the dirt be proud , not only of our great past, but even now - - - right here on Yahoo answers, people from many parts of the world ask what should America do about the misery in Sudan ? What is America doing to help the tsunami victims ? Everybody all over the world looks to America whenever they're in trouble. Many, even while they're running us into the mud.

interesting perspective but I think you're wrong. Chavez has asked to join OPEC so it might get interesting. And war seldom leads to long term prosperity, but you should look at the motivation of the countries that oppose us. Why do they always seek the American dollar?
What happened when the US said that most of the troops were being removed from Germany? They threw a fit, doesn't matter that the cold war is long over and WWII ended in 1945! So, other than an economic benefit to Germany and huge bill to the American taxpayer, why do we still have troops in Germany?

Guy you are not too bright, first, yes 9/11 was internal, it happened in NY city and that's part of the USA and it was done by your people the Muslims. second, Who is Caesar Chavez, is he new, I don't know him,, I know Hugo Chavez.. president of Venezuela, third, all countries depend heavily on the American economy and our dollars, if South America decide to do something stupid against the USA, they will loose all the dollars that they received and so with China, China produced but if the Americans don't buy, what you think is going to happened with China. So you see is not that easy, USA is a powerful economy that the whole world depend in it one way or the other. Good luck and good studying.

No it wasn't an inside job, thats propaganda at its finest..Of which I refuse to buy into..America is as strong as ever,It will maintain its super power status for many years to come despite what other countries do to try to destroy it,they can't...Their economy is also effected by the USA in turn...War has been a necessary evil for many years, sacrifices made, war is hell..but the act itself has maintained our freedoms for many decades,as well as other countries
from being victims by insane dictators..The USA is not perfect,we do stumble on occassion, yet we manage to pull ourselves up by Military or homeland means...You can't just write the USA off,its a main stay.

Was 9/11 an internal job?.....for the last time, NO!!!!! Our demise would be certain if we surrender our sovereignty and follow those nations willing to bend over and take it. Wake up people!

I think America needs to be more flexible on some issues, but the gas prices are still crap.

Wow, what happened to the silly, Gummi questions that we are use to?

You are asking too many questions at once I think. BTW the US economy is doing very nicely right now thanks to Bush. Gas is still lower than most of the world, you should get out of the US sometimes and see that world, it is a marvelous place. Also, spell checking would give your post more intellectual weight.
