Some people will surpress their dreams or thoughts.Heard of people that say dreames are ones evils attempting to overtake ones spirit.
As for me I remember bits and peices,and mostly in black and white.

It seems that you have some memory of your dream whilst waking up, which seems to go. Maybe your brains doesn't consider it to important when you're awake.
