Last year Rush said on his radio show that the Dems will implode.
Today Colin Powell critisized the prez W (again) and now Bob Barr, (Mr. Impeach The Clintons) who served eight years as a Republican congressman announced Friday that he is now a "proud, card-carrying Libertarian." And he encouraged others to join him. Can the Repubs win in 2008 or are they helping the Dems take control of the White House?

Was he ever right? It seems to me on more than one occasion that he speaks before he thinks. And the oxycodone isn't helping too much. And I agree, the Republican Party is slowly becoming the outsider. The odds look to be, in the light of polls and controversy, moving in favor of the Democratic Party.

Okay what exactly is the point of this question?
Rush Limbaugh's audience is roughly 10 million, not even close to representing the opinions of the majority in a country of 300 million.
Who really cares what political affiliation Bob Barr or anyone else holds for that matter?
Colin Powell criticizes the strategy regarding the war. News flash! He has been doing this for a while. Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't he resign because he didn't agree with administration policy on the war?
The next election is really the Democrats to lose. The voters were unhappy with Republicans so they voted them out of power. The result of this election does not signal what will happen in 2008. The Democrats must be true to their words of positive change for all Americans. If they work in a bi-partisan manner for the next 2 years they should fair well. However, if they continue the trend of divisive politics that have been the staple of the Democratic party for the last 6 years the outcome may be more bleak for them. Lastly, Mr. Bush cannot run again. Mr Cheney is not going to run. What this means is that we will have a whole new crop of Republican candidates for President which will remove the stigma of the Bush administration in general. If the Democrats want the White House they must put forward a centrist candidate who can engender moderate support. Another candidate like Gore or Kerry will result in another lose.

Whi is Rush Limbo and why should I care for what he says? I do know of a radio commentator named Rush Limbaugh, and he must be very important in liberals eyes since you whine about him constantly.
