Like in Iraq and Afghanistan? Does'nt our own
Constitution say to maintain well-armed militias? We
are only causing suspicion, and bloodshed, which is leading to more blood vengeance.
Shouldn't we be letting the Security Forces work with
the militias in Iraq at least? I know Afghanistan is ruled
by drug lords. Which makes it harder.

In Iraq people celebrated the fall of Saddam Hussein. Now they are killing their own people. I agree with you that' we are only causing suspicion and blood shed, which is leading to more blood vengeance." Iraqi leadership has great responsibility. They should reach each and every Iraqi group for peace. Courage is required. We must see ground facts. Iraqi people should be convinced that only way to pull out foreign troops is their unity. In Afghanistan, there is need for strong Central Government at any cost to control Tribal society and drug lords. Depth study of issue is required to frame result oriented policies.

Beats me. Desert Nature needs Desolate people that can survive harsh circumstance, know the dangers of a poisonous bite. Nature's hostility and not only Highway man...or opium growers should make out what happens. Know very well, that opium is the main source for criminal behavior in men as wel as a great medicine for the heavily injured and the dying... What's the balance. I ask myself and refrain from a comment. Everybody needs our respect, no one left out.

Its my understanding that we are only trying to disarm those individuals that disagree with us. Our allies in Iraq and Afghanistan can remain armed.
