Can't do that. Queen are legends. Green Day are going to be legends in about 20 years.
Queen is better just for the fact that Freddie Mercury ALWAYS put on a show. He was everything a front man should be, complete with theatrics and an amazingly powerful voice.
not to take away from Green Day. I think they are AMAZING. I would more try to compare them to other bands like them and from around the same time. I think its a completely different genre of music. Green Day being more punk tinged than Queens soaring power rock theatrics.

I like Green Day, I'm a fan of them, but what's to debate on this matter? Green Day already made their mark in music industry, both of them have different style. We can't compare the two. Queen is in different realm now, they are classic rock band.

Green Day are amazing I'm a big fan but I'm so to have to say it but there is no way u can even compare them to Queen!
Queen hands down!
Ask the question again in 10 years then coz Green Day ain't been around long enough to ask the question the now!

i really like queen and yes they were around longer than green day or whatever anyone is gonna say about me choosing green day over them. i just like the sound and lyrics to green day's songs. there are only about 3 or 4 green day songs that i dont like, but there are only 6 or 7 queen songs i do like. so..i would pick Green Day.
