The are equal of splendor. Ar Christmas , we have the birth of Christ, and at Easter, we have his glorious resurrection and victory over sin and death.

Easter. The weather is usually better and we have more day light. The lead up to Easter is not at all stressful unlike Christmas, which I hate.

Personally, I think that they are both as good as each other. Though I tend to think that most people will say Christmas, because they are only interested in the gifts that they receive, whereas Christmas to me, is The birth of Christ and Easter is His Resurrection.

Christmas! My mom loved Christmas so much--now that she's gone, I try to celebrate big every year in remembrance of her. Also, I think I prefer to celebrate Christmas not only as the traditional generous gift-giving, spending-time-with-your-family time of year--but also because for Christians at least, it is a reminder of the birth of infant Jesus. As a recent new mom myself, celebrating the birth of a special infant is a joy. Easter is a holiday that remembers sacrifice and rebirth---believe me, it is never easy to reflect on the death of a beloved son, no matter how good for mankind the results were.

I especially am rejoicing this Christmas because my immediate family will be reunited on this holiday for the first time--all together. I have been with my fiance and his (now-17 yr old) son for 4 years. We have a new baby boy together who will be 1 this New Year's Eve. In July this year, my fiance spilled it that he had a third son he had never told me about that he had been searching for for 25 years--long story there, but to sum it up, the mother of that son died while my fiance was out of the country for work. Her family got custody, changed his name, and moved away. He's been looking for his son ever since.

I found him a few days after my fiance told me about him (I'm a research pro). It was a wonderful reunion and he fits into the family so beautifully. This will be our first Christmas together.

Merry Christmas!

I love Easter, especially the spring too. It is more pleasant then Christmas. Easter is not so hectic as what Christmas is.

Which is better? well I would say Easter, Its like saying which is better the start of a thing or it accomplishment? Surely you wound agree on the accomplishment of a thing, but can anything be finished without having a beginning?

To a true Christian though they are both important and without giving due reapact to one is a show of disrespect to the other.

Merry Christmass that GOD gave us a savior and HE accomplishe HIS saving act for us all to resurecting from the dead, Happy EASTER too.
