What is the so called 'dress code' for the party and the genre of dressing? Also, what is the movie about.

Grease is the word for your party, then you gotta look the part right. Your gonna need:
1. a leather jacket, bomber or a letter-man jacket
2. a really slick hair style, something Fonzie or Frankie Avalon style.
3. wear just a white t-shirt under the jacket. If you don't have leather jacket wear a White t-shirt, but put some smokes(even if you don't smoke in sleeve of your t-shirt by making a pocket in your shirt by rolling up the sleeve "Rebel Without A Cause" style. You can get away with that.
4. Learn some "far out" 50's lingo. Watch Happy Days or get movie like Grease or American Graffiti or Rebel Without A Cause.
5. Tight blue jeans and boots or some Chuck Taylors will do.
6. A comb on your person is a must!
Grease is a hit movie staring John Travolta and Olivia Newton John. Its a musical and also a hit play. Its based on a high love that happened over the summer between two teenagers living in the 50's

I am assuming you are talking about the 1st grease.
if you are a guy wear tight jeans, a white teeshirt (tucked in), chuck taylors, and a leather jacket. (you would look like a T-bird)
if you are a girl, where peddle pushers, flats, and a pink jacket. (you would look like a pink lady).
the movie is about friendship and finding love in highschool. Two kids from different walks of life (she is a preppy type and he is a motorcycle type fall in love over the summer. They both change for each other.
