I am a flight student and i want to get my (left) ear pierced once, but i'm a bit sceptical about doing it because i want to persue a career in the field of Commercial Aviation, as an Airline Transport Pilot, but im afraid that having a piercing in my ear would make the hiring airline have boubts about me (Even though i would not be wearing the earing at the time of the Interview or on the Job).

Most commercial airlines have strict rules as to the appearance of their pilots, so I would suggest that you definitely not wear the earring to your interview. I would think that as long as you don't wear it while on duty times, you should be ok.

Good luck with your flight career!!!

You can have pierced ears, but you can't wear the earrings while you're working unless you fly for a private or charter aircraft business ... and that's only if wearing an earring is okay with the owners of the business.
