Since when was fighting part of the defense? People need to take a long hard look at the criminals that make up the NBA.

They ARE criminals! Most of them thing society owes them a GD living and they think they are above the law. Many think the law doesn't pertain to them. They are animals and should be lock in cages if they are going to act like that. Giving them fines doesn't fix the problem. These "people" have more money than they can spend in 100 life times. You have to take the game away from them. That stops the money and that might open their eyes. America can do without the NBA. But I guess without it McDonald's would be overflowing with job applications.

There is fighting in all sports. Baseball is a lot worse then the NBA. Football has more criminals then any sport, (The Bengals have had 8 players incarcerated this season alone.) Honestly, basketball players are probably a llot more tamed then all the other leagues. You don't hear about All Star basketball players spitting in another players face like the NFL, (T.O. spit in DeAngelo Halls face for example). It's a shame that players fight, but fighting has been part of sports sense the beginning of time. We just have to make sure that these fights don't leak out into the fans.

Because most are not educated in the social graces and do not know how to interact with others. They are mostly a product of their environment. Broken homes with violence as part of the upbringing. The NBA is filled with people who hate certain segments of society and feel society owes them because of something that took place 400 years ago. That is nothing more than racism. No one alive today had anything to do with that. The NBA is a complete waste of time as far as I'm concerned.

Don't make a blanket statement over all of them. There are some good guys in the NBA like Steve Nash, Dirk, Lebron, Dwyane, Jason Kidd. You never hear about them getting into fights and that kind of thing. That's what makes them good role models. Carmelo Anthony had a bad character since day one and everybody knows that, so I am not surprised he got in a fight.

They're all kids from the ghetto and when you're given millions to play this game they feel untouchable and they can do what they want.

You can take the player out of the ghetto but you can't take the ghetto out of the player.
