"The longest road out, is the shortest road home"

Most children are anxious to leave home when they get into their late teens. Too often, they move in haste and it doesn't work out. Then they want to come home but is usually difficult if they have burned bridges.
Take the long road. Stay home, go to school, save money, plan for your independence. Then when you come back home, it will indeed be a shorter road home.

well the long road makes us who we are it teaches us, we need to live our life and go through hard time to appreciate who were are and were we came from and in the long run when we get to the end of our road and we have lived our life as we should have and done right and not wrong and obeyed God.. we will have a very short journey to get to heavens gates (home)....I guess that's what it means... I am not religious but I still believe in doing what is right and being good to one another.... thanks for your sweet answer on my question about the .t.v. couch potato..peace out
