Trust your instincts!!!!.............. If only I learnt that last year it would have saved me a lot of heartache and humiliation.
If it looks like a rat.... smells like a rat.....it probably is a rat!

I am constantly learning new things about myself and I think self-discovery is something that goes on forever. There is never a time when we know everything about ourself and that's it. New knowledge always develops. I didn't learn as much in 2006 as I did in 2003. That was the year that I really knew who I was and what I wanted. I pretty much had a mental breakdown that made me unhappy about every aspect of my life because it was all wrong. The transition took time and it was painful, but at least now I can say, I know who I am. I believe it has made a much better and more mature person in so many ways. After all, "That which cannot destroy me, can only make me stronger."
Happy Holidays. =)

1st. if it can go wrong it will.
2nd funders have no idea where their money is going
3rd peoplel get paid to do nothing, and yet when volunteers ask for something, hey, weve got no money.... we can pay a guy 5000 to generate advertising, but you (thats me) still have to do it all for nothing, using an outdated OS (ME) and office 2000...
4, i learned futility, i learned that just because someone has their name on their office door, doesnt mean they know any more than i do, or have any better ideas.
5 and just because they are the manager, and im a mere volunteeer, they still cant handle all the work generated, and need to delegate... only everyone else is also too busy to pick up the tasks...
6 and i learned to negoitiate. your budget is over half a million, i want XP and office 2003...no software, no contributions from the voluntary sector...
and i also learned that being in a wheelchair folks try to push me around... i learned the brakes work...

That you'll never have today again so don't be too hasty for it to be tomorrow.
Don't overlook what's right in front of you just because you're used to it being there.
That other peoples bad moods aren't always a reflection about their feelings toward you.
That introspection can be a downward, crippling spiral that stops you living a life.
Next year I hope to put it all into practice - if I can be ars*d.

I learnt that when one door closes on me another one is their to slam in my face. Just when you think things can't get any worse they do....but I have learnt to smile a lot even though I don't really want to. Maybe this is a really big lesson for my next life .....who knows. Merry Xmas and a happy New Year xxxxx

That I am even less special and entitled than I thought I was last year. This has been going on for years. One day I expect I will wake up and realise I really am nobody.

I learned that you can only trust and depend on yourself. Don't expect anything from someone else. People will always disappoint you, no matter what!

I have learned that my ego is the cause of all of my unhappiness, and that I am responsible for all of my unhappiness, and that happiness is the only thing that is worth striving for. Also, I have learned that the things that seem to make me happy are complying to what seem to be what is the average earthly morality when looking into religious aspects! thanks for asking!

I learned not to have any expectations from people because they will just let you down in the end.
