Obviously there's no way to prove what I'm saying is true -- you're either going to accept it or not -- your call.
I was once driving down the street and stopped at a red light. Just before the light turned green I had a deja vu that a green sedan was going to run the red light, come hurtling through the intersection and plow into me as soon as the light changed and I entered the intersection. When the light changed, I didn't go (as I normally would have) -- and sure enough, a green sedan tore through the intersection, running his red light. I would have been killed if not for that deja vu.
Like I said, you can believe it or not; but it just happens to be the truth. I still can't explain it. I know that neurologists will offer all sorts of arcane answers about nerve fibers; but this is not the first time this happened to me.
Another incident occured when I was a boy playing at my friend's house. I was outside and speaking to him while he was in the basement of his house. He called for me to come inside; and as I was about to turn the corner to enter his basement door I had a strong deja vu and saw him throw a bucket of water on me (some friend, huh?). I immediately froze; and sure enough he burst through the door and flung a bucket of water that missed me by inches. He stood there gaping, and demanded to know how I could have forseen his plan. I didn't say anything -- just picked up a rock and hit him.
I'm very much a hard-headed pragmatist, and NOT given to flights of fancy or fantasy. I have no reason to lie to you; and promise these stories are true. regardless of scientific explanations, personal experience forces me to concluded that there is more to these phenomena than at first meets the eye.
Cheers, mate.

Kind of. After examining the memory a bit, I realized it was just a memory recalled for some reason I could not connect, but at first it seemed like deja vu or the feeling I'd been in the exact situation before.
I was sitting in my car on a grey day, driving down a highway going to visit a relative and the song on the radio changed to an older one (can't remember which one now, I think it was a Phil Collins song) and for some reason I suddenly felt like I'd been either dreaming it before or had before been sitting in the car with that same song, same grey sky, same feelings as I had at that moment.
It's quite possible I'd been sitting in the back of the car as a child on that road when that song came on though. :)

Always. I heard that people between 15 to 30 have greater tendency in experiencing deja vu.

convinced I actually have felt deja vu many cases, yet no longer unavoidably about places. in certain circumstances I merely get a peculiar feeling that i'm repeating the series of activities i'm doing on the time, contained in the exact same order as I actually have carried out someplace or sometime earlier (and that i do not propose washing the dishes). it in many cases lasts for as a lot as a minute. Then it merely stops. this can ensue perchance once each and every 2 years or so. It doesn't worry me and that i do not attempt to discern it out, because it does no longer scare me - I merely settle for it. I also get yet another feeling the position the ticking of the clock is going large slowly, as if time is going at a a lot slower %., and each and everything round me is transferring in slow action such as me. This one rather rather rather scares me. yet it is yet another tale!

On vacation at a beach resort that I had not been to.Shopping for a souviner when a smell caught my attention(smelled like sandlewood incense).Followed this smell to a shop and when I entered I could go straight to the items I was looking for with no problem.
But as I stood outside before entering I got this feeling that I have seen this place but I had never been to this resort town.
