Gone WithThe Wind took place in the area around Charelston, South Carolina and Atlanta , Georgia. Atlanta was burned, and all the slaves seemed to be treated kindly....so GO FOR IT.
However, Ashley Wilkes married his first cousin, so do a family tree search on all your guests. See if anybody gets violent over THAT!
PS.. it's 3 hours long, and everybody knows how it ends, so you could actually do better.

It might be tasteless but it would max out in the theaters that's for sure. Reach a new crowd of viewers!
