Explain your situation to him just like you did here.
If he is a real friend he should understand.
Tell him that you will be able to spend more time with him after finals and your on Christmas break.
If he gets angry or upset he will just have to get over it or else he would find something else to get upset about if he is that way.

Have you ever thought about group studies? You can tell your friend to prepare one set of questions, while you prepare the other set of questions and then you both can help each other to understand concepts better. In the best case, he will start learning things too and you will enjoy your studies more and your mom will be happy. At worst, your friend will get bored of your constant talk about studies and books and formulas and exams and will stop coming. Then, you can occasionally visit him on weekends and do your studies.

Best thing is that u can sit with him and do combined studies. If it doesnt work then better get rid of him. U 'll get a lot of friend in life but dont mess with studies. More over if he is ur best friend then he wont spoil ur study time.

Best of luck for ur exams

When you say intimate freinds what do you mean exactly?

just really really close or your boyfriend?

your freinds are always important but your studies are more important for they will be what you will need to get good grades and graduate and possible have a good job. However freinds are also supposed to be understanding of these types of things.

So my advice to you is just tell your freind that you need to really crack down on your studies and though you hate to ask it of him but if he'd kindly cut back on how much he comes over to your house.

Or see if he will help you with your studies. this way you still get to hang with your freind and get what needs to be done, done.

Can't you just study together? This way your friend don't has to go home, and you can study. Good luck!

well, it is good to have friends around but sometimes it is advisable to be alone to study & stay focus on your study & spending some valuable moments with yr mummy.
