In my opinion, Yul was a lying, manipulating jackass. He did not deserve to win. As far as the jury went, he had a hand in putting every single one of them there. And I think that the only reason why they went with a final 3 instead of a final 2 is because of the immunity Idol, which Yul had possession of. Everyone knew he had it from the minute he said he found it, but it never got played. I think Becky should've taken the idol when Yul offered it to her. Then he would've been voted off and Becky and Ozzie would've been the final 2 and then Ozzie would've definitely won. Out of everyone there, I think Ozzie was the most deserving of the money and the title of this season's Sole Survivor. He didn't get involved in any of the soap operas and just kept to himself, he won all of the challenges fair and square and got immunity every time, he fed all of them all the time and did the most work around the camp. He also seemed to have the most integrity and heart. He deserved it more

Not me. Yul played a masterful game, controlling people inside and outside of his alliance, while letting Ozzy win challenges.

If this game was purely about winning immunity challenges, then for each challenge, they would just say "Whoever comes in last place, goes home immediately."

But instead, they have tribal council. You know why? To see who can manipulate each other into voting out other people and not get voted out themselves.

You even admit how great Yul was in the social aspect: "As far as the jury went, he had a hand in putting every single one of them there." In other words, he got rid of all his competition!

This game is physical AND social.
Yul's physical game was almost as good as Ozzy's. Check the tape - often times, Yul was right behind Ozzy.
But Yul's social game was way way better than Ozzy's non-existent social game. In fact, you admit that Ozzy had zero social game - he "just kept to himself".

Lastly, in an interview, Ozzy himself admitted that he didn't do enough politicking.

I agree, I wanted Ozzie to win also. I feel that the only reason that they didn't want him to win was because he was so young. But they all ate from all his coconuts and fish he caught and I feel he was the winner by far. I didn't even care to watch the very end because of it. Did he even get a car out of it? And how much money does Ozzie end up with anyway? I think they should of voted Yul out as soon as they knew he had that darn thing. So he would of lost in the next time around. He had to much power because of it. And with it he had a free ride and knew that no one would ever vote him off.

The only reason to tune in week after week this season was Ozzie. The rest were pretty lame. That said, it doesn't mean Ozzie should win for being most genuine, the best athlete/competitor or even the best thinker under fire (note his puzzle successes).

A few years ago they gave an extra million "popularity prize" to Rupert; that would have worked well here too. How about it Mark Barnett?

I wish all the viewers who really! wanted Ozzie to win would contribute to an Ozzie the Real Survivor Fund? $1, $5 or $10 a person would generate a nice nest egg. Ozzie certainly provided us all with more than $5 worth of good TV!

Note: This poster has no connection to CBS, Ozzie or anyone connected in any way to the show.

How else would you get through the game without lying to people? Tell them what you're really planning and I'm sure you'll get voted off the first tribal council. It's called Survivor, not Friends; besides, he stuck to his alliances which you didn't see too much of in the past. Both Ozzy and Yul deserved to win equally. It was a hard decision for the jury.

I loved Ozzy from day 1. I think that Yul should have won the car, and Ozzy should have won the title. Ozzy dominated every challenge, provided the majority of the food for the tribe, managed to not back down on one of his alliances. Ozzy was more of a rustic SURVIVOR than braniac Yul. Yul was manipulative, but he didn't excel at the physical aspects of the show. Plus, in the end, I thought he was not as skillful as he was earlier in the game. He seemed to be floundering, lying to everyone. I thought Ozzy had also grown up through more of of a rough life. I thought he would have really appreciated and used the money more. I was pissed.

Survivor is NOT about integrity or who deserves to win. It's about who plays the game the best. And honestly, Yul did. Did Ozzie need the money more than Yul? Yes. Yes he did. But look how many people on Survivor got voted off even before getting the final two who "needed" the money more than the winners. Yul played the game. He did what he had to do in order to stay loyal to first off, his alliance, and second off, to move him into a good position in the game. He was a smart, intelligent player and it's nice to see one of them win.

If this game was called "who was the most physically dominating Survivor" then Ozzie wins hands down. Physical strength isn't everything. Look at Rupert! That man dominated Pearl Islands and he didn't even make the final 2!

Look at it like playing a poker game. Say you have Donald Trump and a street walker sitting at the table. Say the street walker needed the money much more than Trump. Does it mean that Trump isn't going to play the game and just hand it over to him? No. It doesn't.

Ozzie'll be fine. He's extremely popular among Survivor fans, he got 100,000 which is a good starter point for a college education, not to mention that if he applies for scholarships and in colleges, who wouldn't want Ozzie the Survivor winning or going to their school? Ozzie'll be fine. It's just at title.

Yes I agree. But thats what happens in games the obvious winners don't always win.

Here is my reason why I think Ozzie should have won over Yule. Yule would have been voted off for being too strong and manipulative if it wasn't for the fact he had the immunity idol. Ozzie however HAD to win the idividule immunity to stay in the game he also played a very clever game by stickign to himself and playing for him. He was the obvious vote in my book----unfortunatly my vote didn't count.

I hope to see ozzie on the next survivor all stars!-----I will be going for him then!

I agree that Ozzie should have won. But I don't have a major problem with Yul having won either. Hey, its a game and when you think about it Yul played a fantastic game. YES he used people, he manipulated people, BUT that IS part of the game. He did it in a good way. BUT Ozzie on the other hand EARNED the title, but just didn't get it.

Ozzy deserve to WIN, he was the best, he won challenges and he played well the game, I think that program they shouldn't name it survivor, cause in that case OZZY was the real survivor, they should call it, who has more friends or something like that. stupid show.
and yul, he played ok, but he wasn't the real survivor, He didn't need the money. he's a lawyer. so I think that game is not fair. you know what.. I think there is still some kind of racism in some shows agains hispanic people. the same happened with dancing with the stars. they still can't allow a hispanic wins.
OZZY is the BEST.
