simplifying:
9 + (-3) = 9 - 3
= 6
here, you are not adding but subtracting.... what i want is adding not subracting.

you wasted one of my answers on your stupid question(question was alright but the way you presented your detail was pathetic and in the wrong place)

You should have asked this in the riddle portion

As 9 > 6, you need a net result to be a subtraction of 3.

With positive integers x + y > x and x + y > y

Adding negative 3 is the only possible result

look +-is equal to - so 9+(-3) is 9-3
