Let's say i wanna dig a hole from one side of the Earth to the other one, that goes straight through the middle, with proper heat insulation, and the hole is open on both sides, like air could come through. What do you think it would happen if i were to jump in it? I think i would wobble around back and forth like an osscilation and finally stop in the middle, right? But would i get squished by gravity?

Air pressure and heat would be your biggest problem.
O.K. you are protected. You jump in,you begin to accelerate at a decelerating rate, due to the gravity and mass that is getting between you and the surface. Your terminal velocity get less as the air pressure increases and the force of gravity lessens.
When you get to the center you have slowed down pretty good but you still go right on past the center.Deceleration is the key, you will oscillate back and forth a bit then come to a stop at the center.
If you are insulated properly and have enough food you could sit there indefinitely.
Hint take some gravol for motion sickness you will be weightless!

If you drilled through the core, as you said, you would osscilate and finaly return to stable.

I'm not sure the atmospheric pressure would kill you, though. The atmospheric pressure wouldn't really change that much, it would just fill in behind you as you dug. The pressure would change as you got closer to the core.. but.. boy, I dunno about that.

Take his word, I dunno what I'm talking about there.

Gravity would not squish you. If anything, it would be pulling you appart. For gravity to squish you, the gravity would have to be comming from inside your body. You'd float in the middle because the gravity would be the same on all sides, give or take. Except, of course, for above and below you.

You'd also find it really freaking hot.

No, you would not get squished. You would accelerate to terminal velocity while going down (120 -180 mph depending on your profile to the wind) and pass through the middle and up the other side part way and fall back oscillating that way until you eventually stopped near the center. (Gravity near the center would be almost none)

Well, u will definitely die.

Pressure changes. At ground level, the pressure is just right for people to live, and when u speak about lengths of the earth's diameter, which is about 1.28 x 10^7m, ur body will crumple with the big change in pressure. (And believe me, simply atmospheric pressure can kill u)
Who knows? if u could drill thru the core of the earth, gravity might no longer be existent.

Hope this help=)
