Hello there,
You will have plenty of time to diet when you have weaned your baby. A nursing mother should not be trying to diet. You need to eat a well balanced nutritious diet, full of all the good things that your baby needs. Remember that for the only time in your life you are burning up around 1000 calories just for making enough breast milk to totally feed an infant. Don't add supplemental bottles or anything and you will be using a lot of calories just to feed your baby. It is very important to remember to drink lots of fluid, it takes a great deal of liquid to make milk. Try to remember that when the baby drinks, you should be drinking also. I nursed four babies until they were well over 1 year old. Nursing is great for your figure.
Once your baby is weaned (hopefully not until about 18 months) you can start exercising and worrying about your figure. You certainly have more important things than that to focus on right now. By the time you wean your baby I doubt that you will need to worry about dieting anyway. If you have any questions feel free to write to me!
Good luck and happy nursing!
Love and Blessings
Lady T~

Well I like martial arts exercesie so from that point of view I like to also suggest you that you should try to bring sweat as it is possible. Eat more often but eat less. I know it sounds counterintuitive but I lost weight by eating 4-6 smaller meals every 3-5 hours.
