The one and only Ricky Ponting...

Mike Hussey has been nothing short of class his Ashes Average is over 100 and that's even more impressive when you consider that he has batted in 6 innings.

The outstanding performace has to go to Adam Gilchrist who managed to score the second fastest 100 in test match history off 57 balls, but when you consider that the second fifty of his 100 came from 17 balls WOW!!

It's an honour to watch a side of Australia's brilliance, despite watching through gritted teeth as England are made a mockery of.

Also why is Geraint Jones on the selection committee? Hmmm how likely is it that he will drop himself for Chris Read? Who says Geraint is a better batsman? He has scored well in one match and consistently gets out in single figures. DROP HIM HE'S ****!

truly blossomed under steve waugh

but ,i have to say ,it has reached its peak under
the magnificient ricky ponting

after this series ,he may even be the greatest ashes
captain of all time

who would have thought that/?

a month ago ,we had the ashes

now ,only dust remains

england are not only losing the ashes
they are losing face

really sad

hope they improve in the boxing day test

For England

Hoggard (bowling) and Pieterson (batting)

Special mention goes to Geraint Jones, included ahead of Chris Read due to his batting abilities. Goes on to get 0 in both innings, including one of the stupidest dismissals I've ever seen.

For Australia

Pretty much the entire team, but I'll pick McGrath (bowling) and Hussey (batting)
