first i thought this was some pathetic attempt at being 'contraversial' but you redeemed yourself.
but then... ah! ... this isn't really a question is it? all you're asking for is people to back you up, tell you that you're right. nothing wrong with that (and i say that with a minimal amount of sarcasm). yet, i'll have to satisfy your ego, you're totally right. freedom of speech means jack these days, it's a hidden fact. in terms of iraq, it's just a pathetic excuse. we ALL know Bush cares not us (though his fellow people of texas may beg to differ), there's always a hidden agenda. my guess is oil. think about it:
1. iraq produces tonnes of oil (nah duh)
2. 10 of the congressman in the white house just 'happen' to own oil companies
3. we've reached peak oil, they're hungry for it because it supports their economy and didn't mama always told us that money, is the most important thing. *nod nod* (i'm KIDDING)
we looooove money
so we must love the iraq war in all its glory.

I see that you don't like the war in Iraq, i'm just a bit puzzled you say your "position is justified", what position and why a need for justification. Freedom of speech?. What seems to be forgotten here? I can't debate on an issue if you don't clearly state your opinion, sry.

The question has nothing to do with the Iraq war though, shouldn't you have made it about freedom of speech?
I agree it's been forgotten, somewhere between designated protest zones and the arrests at the RNC.

The war is not over freedom of speech or keeping us free.
It is over who gets to control the oil production and supply, and ultimately the profits.

perhaps you wont also "forget" the word jihad. It involves a holy war being fought in Iraq so it isnt fought at your front door. Perhaps you might also not "forget" the thousands of soldiers that died so that you might voice your angst against the protection for your freedom to speak against the war that keeps your right to speak without local interference from al qaeda.. their families would sure appreciate it...thanks.

Why should I give a s**t about Iraq? It has been more than 1000 years since that place held anything of cultural significance, or its people did anything worth noting.

i love all international places, i disagree with some international places practices in spite of the undeniable fact that (factors finger at mass homicide of lebanese by technique of israel and of yankee invasion in iraq and of sept 11, and so on) who likes conflict? Morons.

At least with you it's just about words. Some people are raped and/or killed by Americans for (Mc)Freedom(TM).
