They have already said they are not going to impeach him BUT I sure wish they would.

No. There is too much else to do. We are in a terrible war and to put Bush on trial would hurt America. An impeachment hearing would only make us look like a weak nation - Clinton's impeachment looked to the world like we were more interested in a president's sexual life than in being the most powerful country in the world. I am always amazed how much energy the GOP put out to deal with Clinton. Here's hoping the Democratic Party has more respect for the nation.

No but many would like to. I even know some Republicans that want to. The presidency is not supposed to be a temporary dictatorship. People forget that the president is supposed to have respect for the office he is holding. Doing illegal deeds and lying show Bush has no respect for the office, the constitution or the people.

No it's not on their agenda. The Dems do plan, however, to expose a lot of corruption and cronyism in committee hearings. They can now issue subpoenas and compel officials to testify. This will be a more powerful method than we probably realize. Consider the influence that the Watergate hearings had on the Nixon government.

No they won't - but they SHOULD...!!!

The trouble is, even when their opposing President is so obviously culpable of crime, you won't find ANY political party willingly going through with impeachment - because they fear the slur would diminishes the dignity and power of the same post (the Presidency) which they too crave to achieve...!!!
Most Voters too get very proud of (their) Presidency - pretty much like the Flag - and simply will not hear of the office ever being permanently besmirched, however bad the scandal...!

It's a pity - personally, I would love to see both GWBush and Tony Bliar frog-marched off to the ICC and prosecuted for their War Crimes...!!!

These are wicked guys - getting away with murder...!!!

"Roch Cop" + "4whatitsworth" - for War Crimes...!!! No need to invent anything...!!! At least 100,000 Iraqis plus 4,000 western troops dead after lying to voters are more than real enough crimes...!

democrats will be too busy with welfare transfer payments and confiscatory tax schemes...for example the week sick leave plan is already on the table as for the minimum wage raise...the iraq idea was a power grab only...harry reid has already gone on record as supporting a tax increase..how is that...ending...the war? where do you liberals come up with this stuff?

He is a lame duck president with less than 2 years left, why bother

They won't because Pelosi said as much and they won't because the Democrats were derelict in carrying out their contitutional duties and are equally culpable.
