They key is Pathan. At Durban, the ball swings - and Pathan needs to get his act right. The Durban test will be the toughest of the three tests for India. On the other hand SA have problems of their own. All is not well with their internal politics. And they don't have a practice game in between. I still see a close match - with a result.

Yes, confidence is one thing which along with ability can take you achieve much beyond you are capable of.
Indian team has lot of talent. Players like Tendulakar and Dravid have yet to fire on this trip and may be they will click in the second test match.
There should be two changes in Indian team:
1. Gambhir should come in and Jaffer should be dropped.
2. Munaf should come in to replace VRV Singh. Many would not agree with me and say VRV should be persisted with, but you need Munaf there and selectors should take some tough decisions.

The team is finally playing as a team and all the players are performing their part and if some have failed, others have made up for it. This spirit will continue and with talent, ability we can win the second test match.
